voces boreales and Quasar saxophone quartet
A unique collaboration between voces boreales and the prizewinning saxophone quartet Quasar. The two ensembles will perform music by Estonian Tüür and British Moody. Each group will showcase their skill invididually with music by Mealor and Leblanc.
The highlight of the evening is the world premier of DRACO by Montreal Composer David Cronkite. Specifically written for professional choir and saxophone quartet, the composition uses names of star constellations.
