The Montreal Choral Institute was founded by Artistic Director Michael Zaugg in 2009. The institute brings his vision for choral performance and choral education together in one organization.
The Institute holds several educational events every the year, namely the Montreal Choral Masterclass. The in-house vocal ensemble voces boreales is featured throughout the season in exciting performances, showcasing contemporary choral repertoire.
Each season, the Institute hosts international choral experts who work with local choirs and conductors in workshops.
